victoria's okpk is back with his second EP for low indigo. more developed and detailed and distinct, okpk's unique sound is maturing beautifully. melancholy rnb vocal snippets juxtapose hopeful synth melodies, fused together by weighty kicks and polyrhythmic percussion, all within a hollowed-out inverted landscape. things might get authentically weird at times, perhaps even alien, but always anchored by something warmly emotive and familiar just around the corner. laine butler, from vancover's chapel sound, provides the artwork and a kaleidoscopic datamoshing video for 'do it again'.
